Laundry Worker (Washroom Operator)

  • Permanent Part-Time role
  • Monday to Friday
  • Working hours from 2pm - 6pm
  • $26.34 per hour + super

We are currently seeking a permanent Part-time Washroom Operator to join our team at our Rosebery Laundry. We are looking for a motivated individual who is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy items

Rosebery Laundry is part of Linen Service Australia the largest Linen and Textiles Management and Laundry Operator in Australasia.  Our Linen Laundry Plants manage the Textile and Laundry requirements of customers in the essential services of Healthcare and Aged Care together with the Hospitality and Accommodation Sectors.

Duties 

  • Sorting through soiled and dirty linen from hospitals, restaurants, aged care facilities
  • Processing of linen
  • Fast paced production work
  • Machine Operating
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Labour intensive work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
  • Following safe work procedures

Skills experience

  • Can do attitude
  • Willingness to be part of our safety culture
  • Good Fitness Level with the ability to lift 5kg - 15kg repetitively
  • Flexibility
  • Team player comfortable working in a multicultural workforce
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and apply the information to your work
