MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN – Afternoon Shift 

We currently have a great opportunity for a full time licensed Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our laundry plant in South Australia.

  • Key member of maintenance team
  • Maintain plant and equipment at a busy industrial laundry
  • Afternoon - based at Dudley Park
  • 2:00pm to 10 pm Monday to Friday – Overtime available

The Linen Services Australia and Ensign Industrial business is enjoying dynamic growth and we are currently seeking a full-time licensed Maintenance Electrician to join our laundry plant at Dudley Park for our Afternoon Shift.

The Maintenance Electrician will need to cover absences of maintenance staff on other shifts from time to time.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you would be responsible for maintaining the site plant and equipment, e.g.  electrical maintenance of industrial washing machines, dryers, conveyors, ironers, and folding machines.

You will have:

  • Trade qualification as an electrician (Current SA Electrical “A” Class Licence)
  • Confined Spaces Entry (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge and application of OHS&W requirements
  • Industrial fault-finding skills and experience
  • Industrial Maintenance skills and experience
  • Manufacturing or processing industries experience
  • Electrical/Mechanical Installation skills and experience
  • Circuit Drawing interpretation and understanding
  • PLC programming and fault-finding skills and experience
  • Effective Communication skills

There will be a preference for candidates who have: 

  • Industrial Laundry Experience 
  • Forklift licence/Elevated work platform licence

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Fault finding and problem solving.
  • Compliance and regulatory documentation and reporting.
