Account Manager - Fulltime fixed term

  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention in the linen division.

This is a maternity leave cover role for 12 months. Become part of Linen Services Australia (LSA), a leading national commercial laundry operator with 19 sites across Australia, and with a strong presence in Perth.  This is a dynamic, hands-on Account Manager role. You’ll take ownership of service delivery, client relationships, maintenance of contracts & respective KPI’s across your portfolio; working in a fast-paced environment that rewards initiative, problem-solving and “think outside the box” attitude.

You’ll spend part of your week on the road (supported by a car allowance package), visiting clients, conducting Joint Service Reviews and turning conversations into practical service improvements. Strong Microsoft Suite skills are essential, as you’ll regularly analyse data, create and interpret reports, and translate insights into meaningful decisions and planning strategies.

Company Overview

Murdoch Laundry is part of Linen Service Australia the largest textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia.  Our Linen Laundry plants manage the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the Healthcare, Accommodation, Hospitality and Aged Care Sectors.

Position Overview

The Account Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and retention for our linen division. This position involves managing a diverse portfolio of top linen customers and implementing strategies that drive organic growth and sales conversions. You will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met while working closely with our internal teams to deliver outstanding service.

Your responsibilities will include developing long-term relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for product expansion, and maintaining accurate records in our CRM system. The role requires some regional to Bunbury, as well as occasional after-hours work to meet customer needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a passion for customer service and relationship building.

  • Tertiary qualification in business or commerce related discipline is desirable.
  • Proven experience in account management.
  • Strong skills in customer relationship building and business planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage time and priorities. You should have a demonstrated track record of achieving growth within a contract environment and the ability to thrive in a team-focused atmosphere.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position is $87,000 pa plus an additional $15,500 vehicle allowance, along with additional benefits such as stable employment opportunities, on-the-job training, and a supportive work environment.
